Coral Springs man arrested after stolen car chase kills bystander, cops say

Following an alleged car theft multi-city chase, multiple injuries and one death, a Coral Springs man is in custody and faces several felony charges, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Sean Paul Holder, 30, is accused of stealing a gray Jeep Cherokee in Margate, then evading police through Tamarac on Monday, Feb. 16.

According to his arrest paperwork, Holder reversed the stolen vehicle into a BSO patrol car with a deputy still inside, then took off. After joining the chase, another deputy attempted a PIT maneuver but was unsuccessful…
