Rochesterians spend their Friday in religious practice

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Friday night marked the fourth night of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of worship, reflection, charity, and good deeds. News10NBC spoke with Imam Wajeeh Mirza of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community on East Main Street about the significance of faith in building a united community.

“We live in a time especially in today’s day and age where we find humanity is moving further and further away from God and religion,” said Mirza.

“We need each other more than ever before. Right? We need to be there for each other, we need to better ourselves so we can be better with each other as well,” Mirza said…
