POTTER COUNTY, Texas (KVII) — As residents in Valle de Oro begin assessing the damage left behind by the Lavender Fire, a GoFundMe has been started to help people in need after the blaze swept through the area.

The fire started Tuesday afternoon and rapidly grew, prompting an evacuation. Damage includes at least one home and surrounding land, though the exact number of losses remains uncertain.
