Iowa sees storm’s aftermath with crashes, stranded vehicles

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – According to the Iowa State Patrol, a number of crashes and motorists needing assistance was caused by yesterday’s snowstorm.

ISP reported that from 9 a.m. Thursday to 7 a.m. Friday, there were 277 calls for service, 75 crashes, 64 incidents of property damage, 11 personal injuries, and zero fatalities.

First Alert 6 saw firsthand a number of stranded semis along I-80 near Council Bluffs.

A total of 202 motorist assist calls were answered by ISP…
