20 cats, 4 cages: Grandview hoarding rescue leaves felines fighting to recover

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Twenty cats were pulled from a Grandview hoarding situation after they were found crammed into just four wire cages.

Wayside Waifs says Grandview Animal Control conducted a welfare check at the home on Friday, Feb. 20, and discovered the owner had confined all 20 cats into 4 kennels.

The nonprofit notes that the animals were immediately transported to Wayside Waifs for emergency medical care.
