KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A woman has died after being rear-ended by a tractor-trailer on I-70 Westbound and Walnut.
Kansas City police responded to the crash at around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 21. An investigation reveals that a Hyundai with a flat tire was stopped in a lane without its hazard lights activated.
A tractor-trailer traveling in the lane next to the Hyundai merged into the Hyundai’s lane to pass another tractor-trailer and subsequently struck the rear of the stopped Hyundai, causing significant damage.
The driver of the Hyundai was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased…
