Tea ParTea offers more than 200 loose-leaf teas and assorted treats in South City

Ever since she can remember, Amber Fouche has loved the simple yet soothing ritual of enjoying a cup of tea with loved ones. Her late grandmother Clara prepared pots of freshly brewed tea daily using herbs from the garden, conjuring warm memories that Fouche holds dear to this day. At Tea ParTea (4551 Gravois), she hopes to evoke the same comforting feeling for customers by sharing her family’s deep passion for the craft.

The St. Louis native traveled internationally to tea farms in China, Nepal, India, and Germany to get a firsthand look at the sources for many of her meticulously curated teas—all in an effort “to make sure we’re getting clean and organic, chemical-free products.”

Her tearoom debuted last March in Bevo and stocks hundreds of sustainably sourced, creatively blended, loose-leaf teas in addition to a full menu of paninis, salads, soups, desserts, and shareable high-tea platters.
