Southwest to launch four new nonstop routes from Austin in October

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Southwest Airlines is continuing its expansion efforts at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, with four new nonstop routes planned for October.

Year-round service to Memphis is set to begin Oct. 1, with flights scheduled to operate six days a week. Seasonal service to Destin, Florida, Knoxville, Tennessee, and Santa Rosa, California, is set to begin Oct. 3.

The AUS-Memphis route is currently served by Delta Air Lines, while Allegiant Air flies the AUS-Knoxville route. Destin and Santa Rosa are both new nonstops for the airport.
