Death row inmate Erick Hall died from a stroke, reports coroner

BOISE, Idaho — Erick Hall, an Idaho death row inmate, died in prison custody on Feb. 9, and reports reveal the cause of death was a stroke.

The Ada County Coroner has officially deemed Hall’s death natural, with cause determined as ‘cerebral infarction’, more commonly known as ischemic stroke.

The coroner reports that Hall was taken to Saint Alphonsus in Boise, where he died at age 54 after life-saving measures were unsuccessful…
