SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Minnehaha County jury found Dylan Farmer not guilty Friday of both first- and second-degree murder in the 2024 death of Casey Shaffer in Sioux Falls. Following the announcement of Farmer’s acquittal, the judge commended the diligence of the 12 people who decided Farmer’s fate in the case, telling the jury “you should be honored and proud.”
