A juvenile has been arrested and is in custody on first-degree assault charges after a shooting near the intersection of Marche Chase Drive and Kinsrow Avenue in Eugene on Feb. 17.
The incident left a 14-year-old boy hospitalized in critical condition. He was allegedly shot in the head and placed under a medically induced coma, according to a GoFundMe page created by the victim’s family.
“Our hearts are broken as we face this unimaginable crisis,” the GoFundMe said. It explained the victim has a long, uncertain road to recovery ahead and the family is taking things “moment by moment.”…
