A late-night visit to one of Honolulu’s most iconic views turned terrifying for a young couple on Friday when two masked gunmen robbed them at Tantalus lookout, police said.
The stickup happened around 11:08 p.m. on Feb. 20, when two suspects walked up to a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman at the popular overlook and demanded their belongings. The man turned over his property and was then struck in the head with a gun, leaving him with a head injury, according to police. The suspects took off down Round Top Drive.
