Maryland Woman Newest Lottery Millionaire After $1 Million Scratch-Off Prize

BALTIMORE, Md. – A Baltimore woman became a Lottery millionaire after scratching her way to the $1 million top prize on the All About the Cash game.

The winner said Feb. 20 after claiming her prize at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore that she scanned her ticket’s prize check and received the always popular message “Go to Lottery,” but she left the rest of the ticket unscratched. She said she knew the message was a good sign and wanted to take her ticket to the store clerk to check the amount, but the business was too crowded. Instead, she went home and scratched the latex from the play area to figure out how much she won.

She shouted “unbelievable” when she saw she matched the number 3 with a prize of $1 million…
