Keith Wicker, an Englewood Cliffs police captain with more than 25 years on the force, died on Friday morning, Feb. 20, after a years-long brain cancer battle. He was 51 years old.
Wicker is survived by his wife, Amy, and their children, Charlie and Paige. A GoFundMe for Wicker’s family had raised $176,810 as of press time.
In the week leading up to his death, the ECPD was working to ensure that Wicker’s family would continue to have healthcare coverage. In a statement issued on behalf of the ECPD’s bargaining unit, Officer Doug Rommes said:…
