INDIANAPOLIS — A father and his girlfriend have signed plea agreements that would send both of them to prison for three decades following the death of a 7-year-old boy in Indianapolis in December 2024.
According to court records, Kevin Gavarrete and his girlfriend, Julia Sizemore, signed plea agreements on Jan. 30 agreeing to plead guilty to one felony count each of neglect of a dependent resulting in death and serve 30 years in prison.
