FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A reclaimed good shop originally from Madera County is making it’s way to Fresno after an unexpected turn of events, the owner says the quick transition has been seamless thanks to the community’s support.
Reclaimed Mountain Goods Owner Lijah Castillo Pura says she did not expect to have to find a new location for her brick-and-mortar business. Due to her land lord not extending the business’ lease she says she’s had to adjust but turned the situation into a benefit for herself, her employees and her community.
“This isn’t a pizza party corporate kind of place, in this place people feel we care,” Pura said. “Rejection is redirection and everything up from that point to where we are right now, which has been less than a month, has happened fluidly and beautifully.”…
