One of Alabama’s largest manufacturing projects is expected to generate enough revenue to help Baldwin County build a crucial segment of a highway connecting to the state’s beaches.
The massive investment by Novelis, which is completing construction on a more than $4 billion plant in Baldwin County, is anticipated to support the county’s plan to build a $300 million stretch of the Baldwin Beach Express II.
