NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An inquiry has been launched over a Vanderbilt University faculty member’s conduct, officials said.
Just after 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, the university announced it had received reports accusing a faculty member of sharing “offensive content” amid course instruction.

Then, shortly after 8:30 p.m., Vanderbilt sent News 2 an updated statement, saying the allegations involved a faculty member engaging in “unprofessional conduct related to content shared during course instruction.”
“The content in question has been removed, and a formal inquiry has been initiated consistent with relevant university policy,” according to school officials.
