After a week of storms that triggered a Flood Watch across Ventura County, along with heavy rain, thunderstorms, and winter storm warnings in the mountains, residents are now assessing wind and water damage as saturated ground and repeated rainfall leave households and small businesses facing unexpected repair costs.

The Jewish Free Loan Association (JFLA) is currently making zero-interest emergency loans available for qualifying Ventura County residents and small businesses impacted by storm-related damage. Loans of up to $15,000 can be used for home repairs, vehicle damage, and certain small business recovery needs.
