Corpus Christi, Texas – A stray spark could ignite fast-moving grassfires by 9 a.m. Sunday as strong northerly winds and extremely dry air sweep across the Coastal Plains and Brush Country through early evening.
According to the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi, a Red Flag Warning remains in effect until 6 p.m. Sunday for much of South Texas, including Nueces, San Patricio, Aransas, Kleberg, Refugio, Calhoun, Victoria, Bee, Live Oak, McMullen, Duval and Jim Wells counties.
