Canyon’s Addyson Bristow signs with Oklahoma State

CANYON, Texas (KFDA) – One of the most decorated distance runners in Texas, Canyon’s Addyson Bristow secured her college future with Oklahoma State on Friday at Canyon High School.

Bristow has built an incredible legacy on both the cross country course and track for the Lady Eagles, recording 10 first-place finishes and five total state meet records. In track, she holds the 800 and 1600 meter individual records plus the 3200 meter relay record. In cross country, she holds the 3200 meter individual record as well as the fastest team average in state history.

Bristow credits support system for OSU decision

The future Cowgirl said much went into why Oklahoma State was the right choice for her.

“So much went into it just I’ve had a lot of help from, my coach and just a bunch of different people helping me choose what’s best for me and giving me a bunch of awesome opportunities and just getting to meet the team that was a big part of my decision and just a legacy that they hold,” Bristow said…
