Suspect in fatal shooting at Baton Rouge apartment complex turns himself into police

A 17-year-old accused in a fatal shooting where the victim’s body was found hanging out of the window of a parked car at an apartment complex has turned himself into Baton Rouge police.

Timothy Thomas Jr. was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Friday on counts of second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon, according to a BRPD release.
