The Optimist Club of Bossier City is proud to announce the winners of the 2026 Essay Contest Scholarship Contest, celebrating the outstanding writing talents of students across Bossier Parish.
The awards ceremony was hosted at Asbury Methodist Church on February 19, 2026, where students, families, educators, and community leaders gathered to recognize excellence in writing and service.
This year’s topic, “My Acts of Service Help Me Understand What My Community Means to Me,” inspired more than 30 middle and high school students to reflect on the power of service and community involvement.
