Stolen sculpture of St. Louis writer returned to Central West End

ST. LOUIS — The bronze bust of a famous St. Louis writer was returned to its home nearly a week after it was stolen in the Central West End neighborhood.

Video from the Central West End Neighborhood Security Initiative showed a man last Saturday yanking the bust of writer Kate Chopin off its pedestal before leaving on a bicycle.
