(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — El Paso County has provided an update on the potential for a Buc-ee’s location in the area as of Friday, Feb. 20, noting that no development application or proposal has been received for a Buc-ee’s project.
According to the County, the only action currently under review is a property boundary line adjustment submitted to the County Planning Department by Vertex Consulting Services on behalf of Monument Ridge West LLC and Interstate 25 Properties LTD. The adjustment is an administrative action that divides one parcel of property and adds a portion of it to another parcel.
The County stated that a project such as the construction of Buc-ee’s would be a transparent public process, and at least one public hearing would be required to determine the use classification, such as whether the application meets the Land Development Code’s existing definitions…
