HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Middle schoolers at Mid-Pacific Institute put their STEM skills to the test in the school’s ‘Defend the Nest’ challenge Friday afternoon.
The challenge is part of National Engineering Week, and students made homemade catapults to launch balls three, four, and five meters away from Pēpē the Pueo’s nest.
