Police searching for missing 13-year-old in South Carolina

SOUTH CAROLINA — Authorities in Marion County are searching for an endangered missing teenager who left his home Sunday afternoon after threatening self-harm.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said 13-year-old Jamar Reaves, of Mullins, left his home on foot around 1:35 p.m.

Deputies have been conducting an extensive search in the area for several hours. Reaves was last seen wearing an oversized camouflage jacket, a gray shirt and blue sweatpants. Officials said he may be barefoot or wearing flip-flops…
