FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)— Indiana State Police confirmed they were responding to at least five crashes simultaneously around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
Two of those crashes occurred within two miles of each other on I-69 northbound, just outside the Fort Wayne city limits. One of those crashes resulted in at least one injury and was at the 306-mile marker. Indiana State Police was unable to confirm the severity of those injuries.
At the same time, ISP was working on a multi-vehicle crash at the 308-mile marker. Police said there were no injuries in that crash. But it did tie up traffic as the two right lanes were closed. As of 8:31 p.m., one of those lanes was reopened, leaving just the right lane closed. Around 9:15 p.m., the road completely reopened…
