First Alert Forecast: Cold start to week. Tracking wintry mix chances

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Snow showers will taper off on Sunday evening, but the breeze and cold will still be in place. Monday morning, the temperature will drop into the low 20s, but thanks to wind gusts as high as 35mph on Monday, the feels like temperatures will be in the single digits. So, bundle up the kids when you send them to the bus stop!

Monday afternoon, expect a mix of sun and clouds with afternoon temperatures in the low 30s, but it will feel like the low 20s.

Temperatures will start to moderate for the middle of the week. The afternoons Tuesday through Thursday will have high temperatures in the mid-to-upper 30s, which is to be expected for this time of year.
