Polk students’ ICE protests aren’t courageous
Kathleen High students walking out to protest mass deportations isn’t courageous activism — it’s entitled disruption that puts the feelings of lawbreakers above the rights of American citizens.
Enforcing immigration law by removing people who entered illegally is not “cruel.” It is the bare minimum any sovereign nation must do to protect its wages, schools, hospitals, neighborhoods and national security.
These students are free to disagree, but they are not free to hijack class time and demand that America keep subsidizing its own invasion. Go back to class, learn how a constitutional republic actually works, and stop romanticizing the very chaos that legal immigrants waited years to escape…
