Marietta postmaster looks to restore trust after years of office scrutiny

MARIETTA — Following multiple years full of alleged incidents of fraud and theft, a congressional inquiry and consistent complaints of poor service, the Marietta Post Office has taken the first steps toward improvement, according to Postmaster Jeremy Holland.

As postmaster, Holland is responsible for customer service, local delivery and the receipt and dispatch of all Gem City mail, per the USPS’s website.

He first came to the Marietta Post Office in May of 2024 before being named postmaster in May of last year…
