The Gainesville bagel scene is about to get a little more exciting. Call Your Mother, one of the DMV’s top purveyors of delicious carbs, is planning a new location in the area, set to open “soon-ish”.
Locals will be able to stop in for a bagel and a coffee at 7372 Atlas Walk Way. Call Your Mother’s new 1,300 square foot storefront will be able to accommodate around 22 guests. Co-owner Andrew Dana previously described the vision for the Gainesville location to Northern Virginia Magazine as “We’re going to make it super-duper vibey, vibrant, colorful, so fun…We try and have every store have sort of a unique pop.”
It is not clear yet precisely when Call Your Mother will be opening in the area; the website says only “soon-ish” However the original objective was Q1 of this year, suggesting that the cafe and bakery may be ready to greet customers soon…
