SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a deadly shooting earlier this month at Playmakers Sports Bar on Park Avenue.
Officers first responded to 901 Park Ave. around 10:07 p.m. on February 8 for reports of shots fired. When they arrived, police located evidence that gunfire had been exchanged and learned that someone had been struck.
Shortly after officers arrived, 33-year-old Jonathan Pitts was dropped off at Crouse Hospital by a private vehicle with apparent gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts by medical staff, Pitts died from his injuries…
