Toledo man arrested after traffic stop leads to police chase in Monroe County

MONROE COUNTY, Mich. (WTVG) – A Toledo man was arrested in Monroe County for allegedly leading police on a multi-county chase early Saturday morning, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s department.

Police said they pulled the 35-year-old suspect over for a traffic violation on North Dixie Highway and Sandy Creek Road at 3:05 a.m. Saturday. The man allegedly fled northbound on North Dixie shortly after being pulled over.

Officers pursued the suspect until his vehicle crossed the county line. At 3:48 a.m., officers from the Flat Rock Police Department advised that the vehicle was heading southbound back into Monroe County driving on rims with two blown tires…
