MONTICELLO — A Wisconsin homicide suspect allegedly swerved his vehicle directly toward a Wright County deputy during a 100 mph pursuit through Monticello and Otsego earlier this month earlier this month — days before being formally charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the death of his girlfriend.
Robert Chilcote, 29, of Porterfield, Wisconsin, was arrested Feb. 5 after deputies say he fled a high-risk traffic stop in Monticello and led law enforcement on a 17-mile chase that ended when his vehicle became stuck near a roundabout in Otsego.
Days later, Wisconsin authorities charged Chilcote in Marinette County with first-degree intentional homicide in the death of Gabriella Cartagena. The charge carries a mandatory life sentence upon conviction…
