Sub-zero wind chills and sunshine return to start our week

  • Sub-zero wind chills tonight
  • Cool and sunny Monday
  • Multiple snow chances mid-week

(WIFR) – It’s been another brisk day across the stateline with highs topping out in the middle to upper 20s, putting us close to 10 degrees below normal. Mostly cloudy skies were a contributing factor to the cooler weather, but the main driving force was our gusty northwest winds.

These winds will remain on the strong side tonight as they will be close to 10 to 15 mph. With our skies gradaully clearing by the morning, temperatures will fall to the middle to lower teens. If we combine those temperatures and winds, our feels like numbers will likely drop back below zero as we head out the door Monday morning.
