Since Tommy Badon became the head track coach at UL two years ago, his ultimate goal was to get the Ragin’ Cajuns program back to the glory days of the 1990s.
Badon was an assistant coach in that era, when UL won 18 conference championships.
The Cajuns took the first step in that direction with a men’s indoor crown last year. UL heads back to Birmingham, Alabama, on Monday and Tuesday hoping to defend that title on the men’s side and improve upon last year’s fifth-place finish…
