SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The news of Smithfield Foods moving from its downtown Sioux Falls location to the northwest edge of the city impacts many, including its employees, pork producers and more, but KELOLAND News also wanted to hear perspectives from Sioux Falls residents.
Smithfield has long overlooked Falls Park, but that chapter of Sioux Falls’ history will come to the close. Noah Vandal has lived in Sioux Falls for about three years. He shared a similar opinion with Kolten Fisher, who also lives in Sioux Falls, upon hearing that Smithfield was on the move.
