Amsterdam woman accused of trying to take groceries without paying for them

AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (WNYT) – An Amsterdam woman working for a grocery delivery service is accused of trying to take other items without paying for them.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Corrine A. Yacobucci, 51, arrived at Hannaford in the town of Amsterdam on Friday night to pick up several grocery delivery orders. Yacobucci then selected another $247 worth of grocery items and tried to leave without paying, investigators said.

When confronted by staff members, investigators said Yacobucci left the store without any of the groceries…
