2 Boston women thrown from snowmobile after crash into trees in N.H.

Two Boston women were hurt on Friday in New Hampshire when their snowmobile struck multiple trees, throwing both riders off.

The women, identified as Daitannah Smith, 30, and Sarah Spaulding, 22, both of Dorchester, had been on a snowmobile near Fish Pond in Columbia, N.H. on Friday before 2:30 p.m., according to the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department.

Smith, who was driving the machine, had been trying to back her way out of a plowed private roadway towards a nearby snowmobile trail. She lost control of the snowmobile and hit a snowbank on the right side of the road, causing her to accidentally accelerate across the road and into several trees…
