SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — A breezy and cold Monday is on tap as the new week marks a return to winter.
A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect from midnight until 9 a.m. Monday morning due to wind chills ranging from 15° to 20°.
Sunday was a windy day across the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry. Winds gusted over 40 mph for most of the area, with SAV recording a gust to 59 mph.
Winds lose some of their punch Sunday night into Monday, but colder, drier air continues to move into the region.
