TODAY:We’ve got a gorgeous day on tap with lots of sunshine, but it will be chilly! Afternoon highs will only get into the low to mid 50s, and with a stiff northwest wind of 15-20 MPH and gusts as high as 35 MPH, it’s going to feel a little cooler. But tonight, winds will still be breezy with 10-15 MPH and gusts to 30 MPH. Factor that with overnight lows in the upper 20s, and wind chills are going to be in the teens Monday morning, so you’ll want to bundle up.
THIS WEEK:It’s going to be a COLD start to the week with morning lows in the 20s both Monday and Tuesday morning, but we do start to warmup Wednesday as morning lows stay above freezing. Highs will start out in the 40s Monday, warm to the mid 50s Tuesday, then we’re back in the mid to upper 60s by Wednesday. So, cold start to the week, but it’ll last a few days.
Clouds return to the picture Wednesday, but the rain chances hold off until Thursday. Thursday morning and early afternoon rain chances will be isolated, but rain chances increase into the evening and overnight as a front approaches. There doesn’t appear to be much of a severe weather threat with this system, but there could be some rumbles of thunder. We’ll continue to monitor this system as the week progresses. Highs on Thursday will be near 70. On Friday, we turn mostly sunny as the front sags south of our area keeping rain chances along the coast. Highs Friday will be in the upper 60s.
UPCOMING WEEKEND:Next weekend, we’ll see another front approach from the north and west and that may hhelp kick off some isolated showers Saturday and Sunday, with the best chance for rain late Sunday into Monday as the front passes. Highs over the weekend will be near 70.
