Outage tracker: Winter storm causes power outages across central Pennsylvania

CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA (WHP) — As the snowbands spin out of central Pennsylvania, several power outages are being reported across central Pennsylvania, according to a PPL power outage tracker.

The tracker showed that around 5:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 23, more than 2,100 outages had been reported in downtown Harrisburg. Those impacted should expect considerable delays in having their power restored, with the lights hopefully coming on by around 12:30 p.m.

As of 10 a.m., approximately 740 customers are without power in Dauphin County, and nearly 2,000 people are in the dark in York County. In total, there are roughly 15,400 total outages reported in Pennsylvania, with more than 7,000 coming from Delaware and Montgomery counties…
