I-81 reopens after tractor-trailer carrying tuna overturns in Cumberland County

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Interstate 81 was closed after a tractor-trailer carrying tuna overturned in Cumberland County Monday morning.

According to a PennDOT spokesperson, all lanes are currently closed at Exit 29 on Interstate 81 northbound due to a crash involving a tractor-trailer that occurred just after 2 a.m. on February 23.

PennDOT says there is a significant fuel spill, and the tractor-trailer was carrying frozen tuna. PennDOT announced that the road reopened at 8:30 a.m.
