Cold, windy start to the work week in the Piedmont Triad

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — A cold and windy end to the weekend in the Piedmont Triad. Temperatures continue to fall through the 30s Sunday evening, and skies will be mostly clear. Winds continue to gust up to 35 mph and feels-like temperatures will be in the 20s.

Overnight skies will be clear and will allow temperatures to drop into Monday morning. Winds will continue to howl overnight with a northwest wind of 10 to 20 mph and gusts up to 35 mph. Temperatures will be in the low to mid-20s in the morning and the winds will make it feel like the 10s. We’ll also start Monday with sunshine.

Skies remain mostly sunny into Monday afternoon but the sun isn’t going to help much… temperatures only reach the low 40s and with the winds continuing to gust up to 35 mph, it’ll feel more like the 30s for the majority of the day…
