Missouri authorities say a dog played a key role in helping officers reunite a lost toddler with their family.
Police in Kansas City, Missouri, reported that officers responded last week after receiving a call about a barefoot toddler found wandering on a street. At first, officials did not know where the child had come from.
While officers were working to identify the toddler, they noticed a dog repeatedly nudging them. The animal then walked away, and the officers decided to follow it.
