Dozens of flights canceled in Rochester due to severe winter weather impacting eastern New York

The winter weather coming up the coast is causing flight cancellations in Rochester. A state of emergency is in effect in multiple Hudson Valley and Capital Region counties, all the way down to the New York City area.

While the Rochester region is not dealing with that severe weather, the nor’easter hitting New England and eastern New York has cancelled dozens of flights in the Flower City.

arrivals and departures have been canceled on Monday at the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport. A lot of those cancellations were expected to head to places like New York City, Massachusetts and Maryland…
