A 35-year-old Toledo man was arrested early last Saturday after authorities say he led deputies and local police on a multi-agency chase through parts of Monroe County and into Downriver communities. Deputies first tried to pull him over at about 3:05 a.m. on North Dixie Highway at Sandy Creek Road, but investigators say he took off instead of sticking around. The pursuit eventually ended near Stoneridge Lane when the suspect’s vehicle broke down, and he was taken into custody on pending charges that include fleeing and eluding and resisting and obstructing.
