‘An immense effect’: Students say ICE presence in Marlborough is hurting school community

MARLBOROUGH — One morning, Marlborough High School junior Maggie Morrissey awoke at 5 a.m. to pounding and yelling outside her window.

It was the sound of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents raiding her neighbors home, she told the School Committee on Feb. 10 as the junior representative of the Student Advisory Committee.
