DECATUR, Ga. — Two people were taken to the hospital after a house fire early Monday morning, according to DeKalb County Fire Rescue.
Captain Jaeson Daniels said crews were called to a home on Pinehurst Place just after 3:30 a.m. and discovered heavy flames pouring out of the residence once on scene. Firefighters started working to extinguish the flames.
According to fire officials, two residents in the home made it out safely, but they were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation…
